Overview

The Federal Way Link Extension Project extends the existing light rail alignment from Angle Lake Station in the City of SeaTac to South 320th Street in Federal Way. The proposed 7.8-mile extension includes three new elevated stations, including parking garages, and new streets for bus circulation.

Land Survey

Furtado is providing horizontal and vertical geometric alignment verification, structure and utility layout and clearance verification, Right-Of-Way and easement verifications.

Right-of-Way Engineering

Through the length of this segment thus far, Furtado has developed and provided Right-Of-Way (ROW) plan sheets, parcel maps, legal descriptions, ALTA surveys, WSDOT Airspace lease documents, and Temporary Construction Air Space Lease documents in support of this effort.

Construction Management, Drone Photogrammetry

Furtado is also utilizing our sUAS equipment to capture project progress, video flyovers and aerial photography to monitor construction progress. Furtado also provided quality verification survey for specific critical interface items to document the adherence to the contract.
